IGLYO Protests in Brussels Against Turkish Raids and Detentions of Queer Activists

BRUSSELS — Board members and staff from the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer & Intersex Youth & Student Organisation (IGLYO) joined a protest in Brussels today to condemn the Turkish authorities' recent "My Family is Safe" operation, which since last weekend has resulted in mass raids on multiple member organizations and the detention of more than 60 LGBTQI+ individuals; expressing unwavering solidarity with the Turkish queer community, IGLYO urgently called on Turkish officials to immediately and unconditionally release all detained activists and community members.
